Important updates from Stour Connect
During the second lockdown we would like our community to know that Friends of Stour Connect will continue to work as part of the Covid 19 Action Group (01258 447058). The Action group will still be providing assistance with shopping, prescriptions and will also be a place to find advice and service, including befriending.
The Community Cafe
We have closed our Community Cafe to sit down customers, although
this will still be providing a take away service, using bio degradable packaging for hot drinks, great baguettes/paninis/sandwiches (hot or cold)as well as home baked cakes (as available). Take away service provided between 9am and 2pm Monday to Thursday.
Twice But Nice
Our Charity Shop (Twice but Nice) has been mothballed BUT we are still able to accept donations. These provide a lifeline for our charity to re invest funds into services/projects for our local community
Dementia specialism project
Our dementia specialism project (Life is for Living) is still able to provide a free service for those with dementia, memory loss and their carers. Phone 01258 471359 for more information
Meals on Wheels
Our Meals on wheels hot food delivery service is ready and able to meet the need for increasing numbers. All our food is delivered hot and cooked on the day of delivery to your door. No contracts. Order before 10amfor same day delivery. veggie options available
