Overview
Stourview Hydrotherapy Pool is a small and friendly warm-water hydrotherapy pool located on the site of Stour Connect here in Sturminster Newton. The pool is managed by non-profit social enterprise Neptune Aquatics for the use of the entire community. Open 7 days a week for hydrotherapy, aquatic fitness and family swimming. The pool is fully accessible with hoist and level access from the car park through to the pool.

The pool is kept at between 33-35 degrees, it is 7 metres by 3 metres, and all one depth at 1.35 metres deep. With gentle sloping steps and a supportive handrail all around the pool it’s easy to access and maneuver in. There’s no need for a referral, we are open to anyone, but all sessions do require booking in advance either by phone, online or pop in in person.

Hydro-cise
Friendly and welcoming instructors lead aquatic fitness sessions where anyone is welcome whatever your ability.
Hydro-Active
Created specially for those who suffer from fibromyalgia and other chronic long-term illnesses. Stourview’s expert fitness instructor will lead you through a series of low-impact exercises designed to help you manage pain and improve mobility.
Hydro-Pilates
Our low-impact core and balance exercise class led by our expert instructors is perfect for focusing on body and mind.
Hydro-Fit
A higher intensity fast-paced exercise class led by an enthusiastic instructor to help keep you fit, healthy and moving.
Hydro-Together
A specialised instructor led session designed at providing support for people living with cancer; proven to aid recovery, reduce pain and improve mood.
Family & Friends Pool Hire
Hire the entire pool for your own exclusive use, up to 8 people. Choose your own playlist and enjoy some family fun with toys, floats and sensory lighting all included and fully supervised.
