The Emporium

My name is Brian Ostrer.

I have lived in Broad Oak for 19 years, having retired here from Greater London/Berkshire.

I enjoy gardening and walking and, with an aim of 40 miles per week, have racked up over 13,000 miles. I am the longest ever serving member of Broad Oak residents Association.

I volunteer 3 times per week at the Emporium – I enjoy volunteering, and feeling I’m contributing in a role that benefits the community. I like the idea that the profits go back into the town to aid with events etc.

I have enjoyed a couple of meals at Pan Thai in the Bankhouse – I appreciate the quality of the food, and find the staff to be very friendly, and helpful when it comes to explaining the menu to those who have not experience Thai cuisine before.
